With a background as a Doctorate of Nurse Practice and Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and more than 26 years of experience, Dr. Amy works full-time specializing in aesthetic medicine and wellness. She is an aesthetic injector and skin care consultant. It is Dr. Amy’s goal to offer the highest standard of medical aesthetic treatments to help you feel confident in your skin!
Dr. Amy’s alma maters are Purdue University, Indiana Wesleyan University, and Ball State University. Before becoming a Doctorate of Nurse Practice, Dr. Amy’s life-long journey of being called to care began with working with a pediatrician as a registered nurse in 1996 which led to her to obtaining her degree as a family nurse practitioner. She is a member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Med Spa, Coalition of Advanced Practice Nurses of Indiana, Dermatology Nurses’ Association, and Sigma Theta Tau. She has a thesis on “Consumer Knowledge and Satisfaction with Dermal Fillers and Neurotoxin Procedures.”
Dr. Amy has a comprehensive educational background in aesthetic medicine some of which include both Basic and Advanced Neurotoxin and Dermal Filler Training Courses thru Aesthetic Advancement Institute and Cosmetic Medical Training, Kybella®, Juvéderm Ulta® XC, Juvéderm Volbella® XC, Juvéderm Voluma® XC, Training through the Allergan Medical Institute. Silhouette Instalift® Training for sutures, Sculptra® Aesthetic, Dysport®, Kysse®, Restylane® Refyne®, Defyne®, Silk®, Training through Galderma, Radiesse® and Xeomin® Training through Merz Aesthetics. Dr. Amy has multiple certifications with Cadaver Dissection courses with Dr. Chris Surek. Dr. Amy remains up to date on the latest developments in cosmetic treatments and will obtain her Masters Level of Neurotoxin and Dermal Filler for Facial Enhancements in July.
